About Manus van Dyk
Manus van Dyk is not only an award-winning professional wildlife photographer but is also one of two photographers in South Africa that is recognised by Canon as a Elite Canon Photographer and Trainer. He has firmly established himself as one of the top flight photographers and trainers since returning to South Africa in 2001. His photographs have won numerous awards and has been featured in numerous publications and advertising campaigns around the world. He is a regular contributor to magazines and articles as well as at professional conferences on wildlife photography. He also carry out commercial and corporate photographic assignments. Examples of his work can always be found on Gallo/Getty Images. Combining his passion for photography and drawing on his early career as a teacher, since 2003 he has been running his self-designed suite of photographic courses covering basic digital photography through to advanced camera techniques.
As a Canon Elite Photographer and trainer he does training for Canon SA throughout South Africa training people to use their Canon EOS DSLR to its fullest potential. Manus have developed "The Ultimate Course” series that takes aspiring wildlife photographers - amateur and professional – throughout Southern Africa to learn the theory and practice of capturing the perfect images.
