Manus and Jennette van Dyk are both award-winning professional wildlife photographers, who have firmly established themselves as top flight photographers since returning to South Africa in 2001. Their photographs have won numerous awards and has been featured in numerous publications and advertising campaigns around the world. They are regular contributors to magazines and articles as well as at professional conferences on wildlife photography. They also carry out commercial and corporate photographic assignments. Examples of their work can always be found on Getty Images. Combining their shared passion for photography and drawing on Manus's early career as a teacher, since 2003 they have been running their self-designed suite of photographic courses covering basic digital photography through to advanced camera techniques.
In recent years, they have been also running the "EOS Roadshow" in depth training enabling people to use their Canon EOS DSLR to its fullest potential. This made Manus one of South Africa's top photographic educators and just one of a handful whose training is approved by Canon. Today, as well as continuing to offer their in-house courses in Nelspruit for all types of DSLR cameras (Canon, Nikon, Pentax and Sony) and the "EOS roadshow", they have developed "The Ultimate Digital Course". This is run, on location, in the world-renowned "Big Five" Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, where aspiring wildlife photographers - amateur and professional - learn the theory and practice of capturing and perfecting their images.
